The trip to Tokyo was quite special. I saw so much variety and feel very inspired. I am sorting photos and captured the footage and am ready for the next step. I will eventually add more to TokyoRaw.com but have added photos to Flickr. I will do what I can before I leave for the January Europe Tour with the Austin Eurythmy Ensemble.
I am back from Japan, rather jetlagged, and preparing to capture almost 9 hours of high definition footage shot with the Canon HV20. I looked at some of the photos and have a good amount of material to work with. My present plan is to make a roughly 30 minute documentary about old Tokyo,, the shitamachi shopkeepers and middle class that are fading as Tokyo evolves and modernizes. I started a new website for this project and the film, Tokyo Raw, which will be the title of the film as well.
I welcome any comments or ideas.
